Hello, fellow CRHers. Today I made your life a little bit harder by subtracting three 40% half dollars out of the mix. One of them I found was just one of three singles I spotted while talking to a Bank of America bank teller. She was telling me how sorry she was that she didn't have any rolls of halves, so I just fought back my smile and said, "oh well, I'll just take those three", already knowing that at least one of them contained silver.
Another one I found was from a roll with someone's initials on it. I had low expectations, but sure enough, I found a dirty-edged 40%er in the mix (someone probably overlooked it). I am only a couple years into the hobby, but one thing I've learned is to search halves even if (ESPECIALLY IF) the bank teller says that they've already been sorted through. Last week I found 17 40%ers in one roll, after the bank teller told me they were already sifted through.
The third 40%er of the day was just a regular find. I searched a roll of halves and said to myself, "Oh, that's neat. I suppose that fulfills my quota for the day(this being the first find of the day)."
Anyways, here's some pics to make your mouth water a little bit. I know that the pictures that the veterans post make me very silver-hungry...
