Greetings all, I figured I'd come out from under a rock instead of just lurking for info. I've been detecting about a year, still with my first machine, and ace 250 I bought basically brand new at a pawn shop for 140$- which I converted a few months ago for underwater duties. Just saying hello and I hope to learn a lot more from you experianced types. Btw the machine paid for itself as soon as I got some heavy duty waders. My gf initially looked at the md with contempt until I figured the thing out and began finding jewelry, now she accepts it haha. My best find was a wedding band I managed to return to its rightful owner.

Thanks for the welcome, the wedding ring is the middle one, first one was junk, third one my girlfriend wears occasionally. A particularly good two hour hunt.
