Picked up a metal detector as an impulse buy. Started using it in my back yard to learn what the sounds lead to. Found a good deal of trash that is for sure. But my backyard had plenty of coins, an old dog license, a fake gold chain that nearly gave me a heart attack when i saw it, and a silver toe ring. I can't wait to get out and hit a few older sites.
