Hello everybody!
I'm new to this forum but I've been prospecting for gold since 2006. Yes, gold is still out there! I do most of my prospecting in the San Gabriel Mountains Northeast of Los Angeles or out in the desert North of Los Angeles.
I got my 1st metal detector in 2007 - a Minelab X-Terra 70 - to help in my quest for gold. I'm still waiting to find that first nugget! I do most of my detecting at the local beaches and parks.
