New Member intro : Moved from Colorado to Florida

Hello out there ! ,
Well I'm not new to metal detecting, been doing that swing thing for about 30 years, But divorce can kill the best of us.
Fast forward to today... Ive been in Florida ( Palm Bay ) for over a year now. Moved here from Colorado. Don't even own a detector anymore ...( Sold it cause times were tough ), But I'm gonna get one soon I hope. Then I plan to hit the surf/beach and everything else I can find. Thinking about a Minelab Excalibur II but need to find a used one. I use to sell White's Brand so I may have to start with a used surfmaster PI.

PS. Not missing the snow and ice one bit .... And yes, I do know how to swim !

Welcome to sunny Florida!! I'm new here myself. Loving it!! I'm on the gulf side. If you can't find a used excal then maybe a garrett AT pro?

Ok, Im back and reading about what the hurricane ( Irene ) did to the beaches .
I HAVE A DETECTOR ON THE WAY ! A used Whites PI surfmaster should get me out digging in the sand soon.

I hope the next time I post will be with a picture of a great find.
