Hello,
I am a new member. This is the only forum I have ever joined.
I live in Arizona USA.
I am wondering if anyone has first hand experience using the Mega Scan Pro?
I am interested in a detector that can find cavities as well as valuables.
This machine in particular advertises that it can cover large areas and also go extremely deep.
It seems a little too go to be true and looks as though it will break easily. It is also very expensive. But if it can do what it says it would be worth the investment.
The area I live in as well as the area I intend to search has lots of black sand and is near known mines. I want a detector that goes down at least 15'. (I realize what that means for actually digging it up). I believe there will be many items deeper than 2' just due to the environment / desert swallowing them over time. I also believe there are tunnels / mines that have been hidden which is why I want cavity detection.
I have done a bunch of research, and still cant figure out which machine I should go with. Here is what is on my radar. I realize some of these do not have cavity detection, but nugget hunting in washes down stream from known mines is fun too.

As a nugget finder Tesoros Lobo Super Traq ( built in my state so I assume will be great for my environment )

I would appreciate any non vendor input.
Thank you all very much.
