Just signed on as new member, would like to say Hello and hope to contribute to this site!
I have been Detecting since about 1996 off and on. Work kinda got in the way a few times but now have figured out
detecting takes all the stress from working away, any way to bottle this and sell? Lol.

Pulled out the detectors cleaned off the dust, repaired a few and even bought another time to start hunting!
Hope to show you what i find soon, don't believe there is any bad targets out there, some are just better looking than others when you enjoy the dig.

Hope to hunt with You Soon.

South Padre Treasure.

Welcome to TreasureNet! You are right, getting outside with a metal detector takes you to another place and time. You can lose yourself in the physical aspects of it, or watch the scenery around you. Hearing a positive tone on your detector pulls you away from thinking about anything else and puts you into the moment. Glad to hear that you are making time for yourself at long last. Good luck!

Welcome to TreasureNet. Good luck!

I lived on Mustang Island years ago before all the condos, resorts, shops etc. The only people on the island lived in Port Aransas. 18 miles of beach and sand dunes along the gulf of Mexico.
We used to hike the dunes, shoot our guns, metal detect, fishing. Man what a great place it was back then in the 1970s.
