New one's

Here are some new artifacts I acquired over the weekend, and one I found this year, with a broken base.

The first one is a KILLER axe that I had a chance to hold over the weekend. The second one is one I got from a good buddy of mine, with pics. before I cleaned it with a toothbrush, and after. Real nice material under all the dirt. I also bought a nice perforated Cahokia Discoidal for my frame. The one I found is made from Tallahatta Quartzite which is from down in Florida, and the coastal states, which must have been brought up here, and traded for. Thanks for looking, and Happy Hunting!

That is one killer axe and I think anyone would LOVE to have that in their collection.
What is it made out of real nice material

B.A The axes are killer, the point a heartbreaker (makes me want to get on the roof sometimes), the discoidal Is awesome. I mean awesome..... yeah, good score they look good. I hope to get to see the discoidal, John

That discoidal is beeyooteeful! I am still without an axe unfortunately but yours are great.

Thanks everyone, but the first axe I only got to hold. It's not mine, as the guy wanted $35,000 about 8 years ago, and now it's not for sale. It's made from Porphyry, and is an Iowa Slant Groove, and one of the best I have ever seen.
