Firstly thanks to Land-Mag for many months of negotiation to gain this permission for me & my mate. It been the hardest one ever, with many restrictions, & our Contract is still with the legal team but we did get the go ahead to start & finish on the same day because the spring crop is already showing.
Someone finished detecting it about 7 years ago but I ignore things like this until I get my own boots on the ground.
Things started off well with the area of interest showing many Roman Pot Shards.
Wasn't long until we were into the scatter but the crashed WWII plane parts that we found caused chaos.
As it's a new permission, I took all my mates finds home to log & then for Cru'Dad to plot them on a map.
3hours 30mins:
12 Roman Coins (8 for me 4 for my mate)
x4 1St C AD Roman Fibula's (2 each, but my mate got a Rare Bagendon Hull T52 brooch, AD1-50, meaning it either came with the invasion as an import or traded to the Celtics on site)
Roman Bronze Ring (my Mate)
Roman Bracelet Frag (Me)
