Awesome Haul! :) Maybe your niece will pick up the hobby as well. Happy Hutning!

Congrats. Fine bit of battery replacement there. I really like your dime and quarter to penny ratio (65:1) :). Mine, I'm afraid, is the opposite. LOL. Are you discrimating out the zinc pennies?

HH.

If she lived inthe area that would be true, but she is leaving after a week. I am trying to get her hooked on the hobby. She seems to enjoy it.

very nice amount of clad! :) :) :)

Nice days haul......great total.......It always amazes me to look back on the year end totals to realize how quickly it all adds up. Just think what each coin in the pile represents 1 coin = 1 hole for the most part, on occasion you get a few coins per hole or even a cache now and then, but not to often. That's a lot of digging ;D Keep up the good finds.

The interesting part of those finds was that most of them were just under the surface, not much digging involved. Some of them were right on top of the ground but tangled up in the grass. Can't quite figure out how they all ended up in such a small area (about 8ft by 8ft).

Congrats ;D

Bogart :D

Lots of clad. I would like to find some silver, but it is pretty scarce, especially in the parks and schools. Might have to get up my nerve and try to get permission at one of the older homes in the area.... one day.
