New plug on Garrett GTI 1500

Hi all

I'm just about to change the plug on my GTI as it started acting up and I've noticed that one of the cables has broke of.

Short story long I'd need someone who owns GTI 1500 and a multimeter to give me a favor.

I have noticed that between pins 4 and 5 there is positive result for continuity test. Now I'm not sure whether my cable is broken further down or it meant to be that way, if someone could test it for me I'd really appropriate it

Pin 4 is white center
Pin 5 white shield

probably worth mentioning that the coil is 9.5" proformance imaging

Steve does your machine take 5 or 7 pin plug? It would have to be 7 pin one.
