New Port Richey area

Moved to the NPR area about 2 months ago or so and would love to find out about metal detecting opportunities in this area.

I have lived in New Port Richey since 1961 and have been detecting since the
latter part of the 60's. I use Whites DFX with 4 x 6 disk and love the results
that I get. Also use Whites SurfPro PI on the beaches.

I just bought a Whites Beach Hunter ID also and am new to this too. Any pointers as to where in the NPR area to get started? I am going to try Fred Howard beach maybe but I don't really know where you're allowed to go yet.
