New Shopping ap on Facebook.

I was thumbing through the shopping ap on Facebook and saw a Morgan Dollar... 1884 O, hard to tell condition by the pic, but it is either AU or low unc (60 to 63). Asking price, $30. I tapped on "Make an offer." and offered $25.

5 seconds later I get a text, "SOLD!" Got to go to get it this weekend. I'll post pictures once I have it in hand.

Our police stations have certain areas/parking lots designated as a Safe e-commerce meeting space where the area is under 24 hour surveillance. Be sure to meetup in an area with similar coverage/protections. You might want to ask if the seller will ship at your expense. The gas and time expense to meet for a single Morgan isn't worth it versus the cost of first class postage. Of course, there are no seller/buyer protections like eBay offers when it comes to Facebook transactions. All transactions are conducted between private parties.
