Hello T-Netters! I stopped in at the farm where I have gotten permission in the past to ask again. This time I ran into the father who retired this year at 74. He gave me a lead on a place I hadn't been before. That night I went to my online resources and none of them showed a house. The next night I went there and began the search. I hit a lot of iron about 75 yards into the field, but I believe it was a fence row. I had nothing after 1 1/2 hours. At this time I took a walk and did a big circle hitting all the high spots. Finally about 300-400 yards out I found the spot. With an hour of sunlight left I was able to get two Indians and a eagle button. This past Sunday I was able to return and got 5 hours in. This was one of my busiest hunts ever. The 7 Indians date 81, 82, and 83. The small token is a crossed cannon from civil war era, 61-64, I believe. The large token speaks for itself, circa 1890. Three eagle buttons and an eagle medallion off of a hand saw.

IRON. I took a back pack to haul out the iron. It was a long heavy haul. The one picture was of a horse. I enjoy my iron relics! Keep Swinging!!

Great hunt ! Looks like a really nice site

Nice day you had

Very nice Finds.. CW token is especially nice...

I see a waterfowl band, did you call it in? Nice finds.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. It was from a Canadian goose tagged in 1999, Ann Arbor Michigan, to young to fly when banded. Keep Swinging!! Dig Hard or Go Home!!!

PAYDIRT!!! Looks like your going to be busy a while. Cool!

Congrats on the research and permission. Looks like you had plenty of targets. Love to token and the qty of IHPs:thumbsup: Does your pack have a frame?

lots of cool stuff

Those are the best spots in my opinion:thumbsup: great finds, love the Indians ! Great iron, I keep all mine too:icon_thumright:

Those are some excellent finds. I've discovered that the earliest house sites in any area were not on a housesite map--and that holds true for all the land in the Old Northwest Territory as well--Indiana, Ohio, etc, all mapped out in 1 mile square grids...

Loco-Digger, no, what I took was actually a large hunting fanny pack I use when hunting Indian relics. It was loaded.
Keep Swinging.!! Dig Hard or Go Home! !
