First time on this site that had lots of pottery everywhere, that looked medieval.
First day I spent 3 hours, and was amazing, target after target, thousands of Fe signals, and amongst them lots of good ones too.
The coins were coming non stop, and then lots of relics.
The coins range from the 1600´s until 1948.
The artifacts I need help identifying are the "brooch" I dont know what it is, and the pin or beak shaped thing. I have no clue what they are or what period, I would really appreciate any pointers.
I went back the next day, for about two more hours, and the targets are endless, and still lots of ground to dig, I´m extremely excited.
Another "brooch" pooped out, and coins.

Hello mate!!
Reduce the pictures or leave us blind to all .. :laughing7:
I like these findings, the Roman pin is very nice ... and I placed a number below each finding that I can identify .... but not much .
1 - Bronze Star-shaped Mount ,17 to 18th century.
2 - Visigothic Pin buckle 6 to 8th century.
3 - lateral fragment of a buckle,16 to 17th century.
4 - Button in the form of radiating circles, 17 to 18 century.
5 - Roman coat pin , 3 to 5th century.
6 - Small Mount (apparently post-Medieval)
7 - pre-roman ring ?...
8 - thimble , 18 to 19th century.
9 - Bourbon Button 19th century . (Gunners?)
10-Bronze mount 16th century.
11- 17 to 20th century coins.
Greetings !

The amount of history contained on that single small piece of cloth is mind boggeling... absolutely stunning. :happy2:

The stories that any ONE of those peices could tell is amazing, let alone that whole group of finds together!

Amazing finds as usual HISPAN! :hello2:

I cant believe what you are telling me Hispan...
especially the pin and the roman "fibula" (or is it not a "fibula")

I have to go to this site again and dig all the other "not so good sounding" signals...

Thanks a million

Cheers

Thanks a bunch for the comments.
I found the site just out of pure luck, stopped the car, took a couple of steps and happened to look the ground...lots of pottery that was old. Came back with the machine and couldn't stop...
I should have bought some lottery... :laughing7:

Cheers

I can sit and look at your finds all day long.
That really is a bunch of amazing history there.

To me it is incredible still, too much!

I go over the pieces and I cannot really grasp all the meaning they have.
People were settled on that exact spot since at least the 5th century

thanks

Wow awsome finds it is a site that all of us dream of coming across one day in our treks across country :icon_thumright:

What a thrill it is to stumble apon undetected ground. Congrats!!

It is really an excellent site, now there is bad weather here, but I hope (and if my jobs permits it) to go back very soon.
Thanks for the comments!

Yeah! at first I though it was going to be empty, because the pottery its very obvious, but as soon as I started hunting there were so many signals that I had a grin in my face for the whole day... pure luck!

cheers

get on that spot like a pitbull on a ham bone.
