New sites...

[Pdr206]

Hit what i knew to be two old home sites from 1899 maps as well as an old train platform in my town. All i found was trash dumps and piled up/buried foundations. Odd. Did find some cool items though, just way too trashy for my tracker4.

The round lead with hole in it looks like a handmade fishweight.

Curious what the spade/chisel thing is and maybe age.

Also found tou soldier and a cast truck. Anyone see anything like the plastic soldier before?

I must be that smelly new kid. Haha.

Wasn't a bad hunt at all really. That chisel is nice. A lot of electrolysis and u can get the baby looking better. I'm not a collector on old tools but I'd prolly say late 1800 early 1900s. The toy soldier is a nice find also. I've found quite a few of them and a lot of times they are broken. All in all though they r both nice collectables.

Great finds Pdr! Thanks for sharing...

Looks to be a well used stone mason's chisel. Good luck in your hunts!

The soldier on the snowboard is really cool. Congrats on the finds.
