My neighbor's four-year-old saw my metal detector and wanted to play so we hunted the yard next to his. We pulled a 70s memorial cent and a 2009 Lincoln bicentennial cent that was too corroded to make out the reverse design. I never saw anyone get so excited over zinc. He asked his mom for a detector when I told him I wouldn't let him have mine.
