Take your time and learn the machine. And remember, you won't find gold and silver the first time. The Zinc penny's will drive you nuts.

Welcome from White Plains, New York! :occasion14:

Read that manual - AGAIN, and be SURE to do the air tests and ground tests with a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, gold wedding band, silver cross/earring and LEARN what they sound like, where they fall on your machine's Discrimination levels, and how Sensitivity affects your depth.

Good Luck!

I like some of the higher end features like variable sound so you can tell how deep it is. But just so you know I've used lots of brands but all I have now are Garrett's!
