New to detecting, looking for a friend to hunt with !

Live close to Placerville in Northern California, I only have to make sure the kids get to school and then picked up. The wife is at work, so looking to get out and about and to make the most of the coming weather.

Sorry I live out of state, but 2 years ago was traveling through, stopped at a park there and pulled up a silver quarter, good luck in finding a detecting partner!

You are in a good area for gold rush coins and relics. There should be a metal detecting club in your area where you may be able to meet some hunting partners.
