Just wanted to say hello to all,

Been mding for about 2 months since I got my first detector, ace 250 new and picked up a used treasure mate pinpointer. Im on the Oregon coast. If anyone lives nearby and wishes to go detecting, send me a PM.

I mainly like to search old shipwrecks, old townsites and homesteads and armed with gps in hand I'm ready and excited to do some hiking if need be.

Finds so far: one silver dime, lots of wheaties, lots of clad, lots of junk (LOL), and one gold ring

Mainly so far ive just been using the friendly metal detecting forums, but I just discovered this one and it seems a little more comprehensive.

GL finding treasure all, I'm sure youll be hearing more from me

Which shipwreck did you find the dime?

Found the dime in the remains of an old coal mining settlement by the old crumbling docks. Delmar, Oregon I think it was a town until 1880s if I remember right.

Chose this place for a quick hunt as its easily accesable.
