Coil cover

Hi, all it's Coinfinder, Question will Duck-tape if you put duck tape on the coil cover will it still work ?on the bottom of the cover. Thank for your in put about this .

It will work, don't know how long it will last.

I have used duct tape in the past and it worked just fine to protect the coil. No problems.

Replace as needed.

Sure, duct tape will protect some from adbrasions, but not knocking it against rocks. You will have to watch for black sand stuck to the tape as was mentioned.
