I've been interested in metal detecting for a very long time but I finally got around to getting into it. Thanks to my brother, who bought a detector and prompted me to get one. When I was younger and living in Georgia I hunted arrowheads and other Cherokee Indian artifacts. Sadly, my arrowheads have gone missing over the years and many moves.
I found out that my wife was also interested in detecting so I bought two beginner detectors off craigslist. After only about a month detecting we are now hoping to upgrade soon to more advanced detectors. The nice thing is that we live close enough to Panama City Beach to be able to travel there and hunt on the weekends.
She is from the Czech Republic and hope to move to Europe some day and I can't wait to take my detector over there.
