New to Metal Detecting

You have to let us know-salt water or fresh, dry sand or wet salt sand or saltwater. There are many, and each is good at what they do. For salt water, in water, there are quite a few good ones. But they can get expensive. If you are just up on the beach, not very expensive to expensive. Let us know your plan. Steve.

Looking to do mostly (beach) dry sand to start with.

If you can afford it get the excall 2 it's a very stable machine in the wet or dry sand/ salt environment. One suggestion get the straight shaft as it puts the weight further back on your forearm so it's less fatiguing to hunt. And it's simplicity makes it easy to learn. Good luck HH :icon_thumright:
