First of all welcome to Treasure Net! The best thing you can do is use it. There are many areas on here that you can learn from just reading :icon_study:the posts. But experience is always the best teacher.

welcome to the forum,i'm in schaumburg,we've got a good group of guys who get together for some diggin',your more than welcome to join up anytime, keep your eye on the forum for outings

Missed the carnie over at the park complex there in Hangover Park a couple weeks back, there ought to be more than a few coins still laying around over there. The grass is pretty scarred where the booths and attractions were, so check those green spots bordering those scarred spots. Usually did alright there and on the sledding hill.

I saw the park down on Devon in Bartlett has been uprooted and turned over, but is still closed. That park was old when I was a kid and we'd get the fish fry at the bar by the tracks back in the 60's. Keep an eye open for when they get done and open it up, and do some scouting for similar work.

Stay out of the Dupage County FP's, they're run by anti-detecting fascists! When fall gets here you're welcome to join in the hunts around the FP's along 59/58/Schaumburg and Shoe Factory Road as well.

Are you out around County Farm or Army Trail Roads?

Welcome aboard, keep an eye out for schools and parks. I do very well in those places. Also look for Bomber to mention a group hunt, we get 4+ to hunt. Good luck...

thinking about a group hunt at the lake,no charcoal on the sand, but the grass is cool.........anybody?

Hey, we owe Goio a trip towards his area by now, don't we? Maybe we meet him halfway? Airie Crown Woods? Someplace cheaper than lakefront area parking with detecting potential?!? I'm not being cheap, I just am cheap.

foster and montrose is free parking and the chick in the candycane thong is just great eye candy :o :o :o :o :o,and yes we do owe greg a trip

I'll head over to any of those places Goio hunts anytime!
