Any of you fellas planning any hunts end of March/ beginning of April? I'll be there visiting my mom and bringing my detector.....hoping to find some old silver and enjoy the nice soil to dig in. It's likely the only chance I'll have at seeing gold or silver there but still a good time!
Lots of old history there for sure and close to her house I was thinking around lundgren elementary or state street, billard park around the swimming pool bleachers or concession stand area grasses, little Oakland park where the old pool was at pre70's....those are close but never been to any of them with the detector.
I imagine there will be tons of trash but just a guess.
