Went back to the old 1730's house today after finally getting some decent weather here in NJ.,still very wet around here from snow and rain but warmer temps last couple days.first thing I found was the ornate lead disk which seems to be a rosette of some type with silver guilding on the front,it was found in the woods around the house.ended up back in the yard around the house and found the 2 shield bridal tacks feet apart.as I got closer to the house near the driveway I got a deep signal 10 inches down, out came the little cuff/coat button with the free mason emblem on it,looks to be a very early one posibbly late 1700's.
