Happy New Year to everyone! I walked the creek a little and was hoping to find a point but did not. I did find 2 pottery shards so the day wasn't a loss and it's warm so a good day to be outside. 20190101_124001.webp

This 2nd piece has markings on the outside and inside so posting pics of both sides. The lines are real fine.

Good finds, nice when you can still see the designs.
 

The bottom one is called "cord marked". They wrapped it with cord before they fired it to help keep it from breaking in the fire. Gary

Wondering how they did that on the inside of the pot because the way it's curved that would be the inside.
 

Nice pottery do you keep it and have you ever tried to see if any pieces go together?
