New years Day finds

Well we managed to get in the water for our annual NYD Dive and picked up a few goodies, find of the day goes to Dwayne with his Niagara, Codd Stopper Bottle from the late 1800s . I managed to get a nice creamer bottle and an Ink bottle as well as a long piece of brass rod and a 2lb diving weight. The square thingy is a scrap copper winding.

Yea, that"s snow all-right. Normally we would dive from the Zodiacs but with our New Years Dives we kind of like to get a little more sleep if you know what I mean. Launching and recovering the boats adds more time to the dive, this way we just get dressed and head into the soup.

Yea ours do too, and it can take quite a while for things to go back to where they should be.
