Newb Question -- What is an AG Coin?

Im not meaning Almost, good, but I keep hearing about coin roll hunters using the AG term? What does it mean?

"Ag" is the chemical symbol for silver on the periodic table of elements. :-)

As you mentioned, AG (no lower case) is used to designate the condition of a coin (About Good).
It has a rating of 3 on a 1-70 scale of qualtiy (grade).
