Newbie and loving it.

I am new to the site and new to metal detecting. Got my Garrett Ace 350 for Christmas and I love detecting more than I ever thought possible. I work a lot and don't get to go as much as I would like. However I did take a day off a couple of weeks ago and found this little gem. It is a 10k gold ring from the 1970 Copa Mundial de Futbol. In English that would be the world cup of soccer. That tournament was held in Mexico and I have no idea how it ended up at an intermediate school in Pasaden Tx. But as a beginner it was a cool find.

Well by default I guess I have to be! I mostly like all SEC teams, but especially the ones that have the good coaches, and LSU has had some of the best!
