Hi everyone!
I'm from southern Oklahoma. In 28 and just picked up my first md. I have a Teknetics Delta 4000. I did a lot of research before I bought my first md. I had decided on a Fisher F2 to start with. I found lots online for decent prices. One weekend I drove and to Fort Worth and decided instead of getting it shipped we would make a day of it and eat, shop, and I would pick one up while I was down there. Well we ate. We shopped. When it came my turn to pick up my md no one had one in stock. The few I did find that were in stock, was places that didn't have a store front and would ship only. So I went and did a little more research on the ones that were in stock and that were in my budget and that's how I ended up with the teknetics.
I have been out a few times. Haven't found anything but a bunch of scrap iron pieces and pop cans but right now even that is exciting.
Is there a website that I can find historical sites? I know I can't hunt most of the places I'm just curious how close some of those sites took place.
