Newbie here - Hi Y'all.

Good morning everyone,

I'm just getting started in what I hope to be a great way to exercise and have some fun.

I just moved to MS and will be going on vacation to Gulfshores, AL around the 16th and I'll be taking my new detector down there and try it out.

I'm looking to purchase a Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro Metal Detector. I've read good reviews on it. Anyway, if y'all have any input on this detector or places in Gulfshores where I can start, let me know.

I don't have any experience with the Land Ranger Pro, but I've owned a Bounty Hunter metal detector in the past. Solid machines and good value too. Best of luck to you and happy hunting!

Be sure to hit the gulf shores city beach park. As you come in to GS it dead ends if you come in on 59. Go right and about 300 ft on the left. Sea side. I found coins and one diamond ear stud last year there. And you are going at the right time. Good luck
