These 4 are from a large, heavy clear glass wine? Type bottle, irregular kick up on bottom, irregular (not straight) side seams, circle bottom seam with 482A 3 S8 on bottom



Rolling Rock beer bottle, any idea on age of logo?








A brass? Wax stamp seal, words "Texas Benevolent Benefit Guild Austin Tex" any ideas? 2" diamter

Hi'ya wj,

Welcome to the bottle department of TNet. Your clear glass crown cap bottle is an early machine made example, 1910-1925 era. The kick up suggests wine. It was not unheard of for wine to be bottled in crowns, though probably not a top vintage. It really could have contained almost any liquid. You did not mention it's size or capacity.

Rolling Rocks date from 1939, as does the logo. There's a good history >>> The Pennsylvania Center for the Book - Latrobe Brewery They are ultra common in the eastern third of the US.

The bottle guys always want to see an overall shot of the whole bottle, along with close up views of the entire top, highlighting the area where the seam converges to the finish. A view of the base, too, and any distinguishing marks or features. Natural light affords the best viewing, on this end.

I found only listings for the Benevolent Guild in 1882 & 1895.
