Newbie needs advice

Looking to get my first metal detector this spring. Im thinking a Garrett Ace 250. Not sure about it though. Im into silver and coin roll hunting. Is there any books out there anyone would recommend? Any advice on my first detector or any books to read would be great!! Thank you to all that answer!!!
