Thanks to all who have sent ideas to me. I checked Kellyco and see a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 Pro for $380 incl. some headphones,tools, bag etc. Any thoughts on the item or any comparable hardware?

I would buy that used Delorn I gave the link for long before I would buy that bounty hunter, a lot more bang and detector for your money...

Look at the Tesoro Silver umax.This detector in my opinion would be a good choice.Not that there is anything wrong with the bounty hunter.The controls on the silver are great for a beginner.
