I am new to the interest of panning/prospecting for basically anything that might be available in Georgia. I am just slightly north and west of Atlanta. I really am green but eager to learn. Dies anyone know who in the area I could talk to for pointers. I have never even panned in the public panning mines, so I need direction. I bought a map of the gold areas (mines, etc) in GA. but not sure where to go fro here.
