Hi all new guy from NY
just got my first detector and have been playing around a bit with my 9 year old step son [ had to get him one also]
I have a At pro and bought him a coin master
wife is pissed about it and said I better get some good finds soon to pay for the units

Hi; Greetings from Boston. Welcome to TNet. Yes they will pay for themselves over time ok. JOIN a Club near you. There you will meet the Pro's in your area. They will show you how and where to hunt. How to use your detectors and take you both out in the fields ok. Most importantly they will show you how to dig a PROPER Hole. Anyone can dig a hole. I practiced on my own lawn to get down cutting plugs and replacing them properly before I went off my property with them
my step son needs some more work but he is trying hard to learn
also using a "drop cloth" makes for much cleaner plugs we have found out
