News Flash - Bug just came out of My Ear One Week Later

As I reported last week on TreasureNet, on my way to metal detecting the beach a bug flew in my left ear while I was driving 35 miles/hr. I pulled over and went to a near-by emergency medical center as the bug buzzed away and went deeper and deeper into my ear canal. However, long-story-short, I drowned the bug at the drinking fountain while waiting for the Doc and left with a dead bug in my ear because I HAD to go metal detect the beach. Any ways, today, one week later, the bug finally washed-out of my ear. The bug was a monster measuring 8mm long and 3mm across. Luckily, it didn't start to burrow into my brain before I drowned it...like a fly.

I can hear the wife, again...Oh Boy.

Glad you got it out. I recall a friend having a bug thump on his ear drum. He said it was so loud and scary. He was woken up to this, and hauled butt to the emergency room.
