Newsweek Will Cease Print Publication at End of Year - NYTimes.com

I've seen many thriving businesses and industries flourish then flounder, such as the buggy whip industry, victims of technological advances, safety issues, etc., and have concluded that this is another example of the computer age taking it's toll.
However, if one wishes to be a viable commercial contender, the mantra MUST be adaptability to the future. Newsweek surely is poised for a major focus shift and only time will tell if Newsweek can adapt or fall by the wayside, along with some of today's industry we take for granted. Alongside with the buggy whip industry.
