For this time of year we are on fire, in fact we have now had the best start to a year that we have ever had on record, & Febs not finished yet!
For 2 days & 10 hours 30 mins we gridded the field next to the Roman Bath House. It's never produced very much but its not been covered as many times & never by the Deus, so game on. It's a small field so we have covered about 75% of it all.

33 Roman Bronze Coins
3 Roman Silvers - Vespasian, 2 Julian II.
WWII National Fire Service Cap Badge
17th C Seal Matrix 8-)
2 Roman Brooches (Types I need) :icon_thumright:

Crus, nice finds. That badge is actually a "Not For Sale" badge.

Very nice Cru, I love seeing those old coins and buttons. Our old coins are your modern junk :laughing7: Keep em coming bud!

Super impressive start to 2016!

Wonderful finds!

Curious though, what would you say the average depth of them were?

Love the silver and the seal - great hunt!

Almost looks like a goblet over a scull(?)

Without reading your post, and after filtering, I concluded the same. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1456506054.477199.webp

Or maybe the goblet could be a bunch of wheat tied in the middle? Dunno
