What does NGAC stand for? A little research leads me to believe it stands for possibly North Georgia Agricultural College 1871-1929 in Dahlonega Georgia. I dug a few items at a spot I've detected before including an early Duck Head button. Any help with NGAC I certainly do appreciate......... DSC01124.webpDSC01130.webpDSC01126.webp

This is the best I could find, hopefully this confirms your suspicion. NGAC appears to have a cadet corps in the early 1900s, here is a link to a photo of the cadet collar device. I would say that the look of the text on the collar is spot on to the buckle you have:

Nate, now how cool is that? Your research interests me greatly. Cadet corp never crossed my mind. I agree, the text font style is very similar to my NGAC buckle. If you notice my avatar, the 1851 eagle belt buckle is what I dug in the same field here in South Georgia. Thank you for sharing this info kind sir!!!

Your going to need to get you another frame for just the buckles you've been digging! Keep it up.:icon_thumleft:

It also stands for "Nashville Golf and Athletic Club". Maybe a buckle from a golf bag?
