Hello all! I found a few neat relics Saturday, my favorite find is the barrel (tap) spigot. I'd like some expert help dating it. This was from a pre Civil War site. I'm also curious about the oriental looking brooch. It'd be great to know what language & if possible what it means. It was a beautiful day to go digging & hang out with some friends! (Boy Virginia sure did spoil me though!) Thanks for looking & HH!

That's some pretty cool finds. Congrats

The what is it is a knob to the spigot i believe

Try (What is this?) post there's usually someone that help.

Josh - I think the spigot as well as the other finds are all 19th century. The spigot doesn't have the colonial look, but is still a cool find.

Hello mangum. Nice digs all man...the tap is a great find...so are the key holegoo and broach...looks like the kinda hunt you forget all you got till you empty the bag...ggod luck. C9

Clock wheel (gear) not a watch
Watch parts Not like any I have seen
What is it? It looks like a lower piece of broken filigree probably was on the box with the lock cover.

Cheers

I would put the holed object into the electro. I would bet it has some engraving on it. Probably a "hand" worn by a slave

The tap looks early 1900s.

Nice finds Josh. GL&HH!
