Nice Big Spectacle Buckle, a Silver Something, and More

I've been striking out on the silver coins lately, but I did find a nice spectacle buckle, an interesting silver thing and a couple of brass/copper mystery relics. If anyone has any ideas about the unidentified pieces, I'd love some input. I'm especially curious about the silver object.

Thanks to everyone, who has weighed in on the mystery objects. All of the suggestions seem plausible.

I thought for sure that Crusader would know what the silver thing is, so now I'm concerned. I like the pommel cap idea but I wouldn't rule out a thimble. Whatever it is it was probably either fitted into something with a thin wall, or had a piece of trim slipped over it.

The thing that looks like a harmonica reed is actually heavy brass or copper. I should have photographed the side of it. Anyway, I feel like I've seen something like it, but don't remember where.

I think the circular piece must be a walking stick top cap, because someone detecting with me found a walking stick bottom cap that matches the style and material.

I've started building some theme-based displays and I'm not sure where to put this silver thing. Personal adornment or gun, knife, and sword parts. I like the idea of it being a pommel cap like AARC said, so I might go with that.
