[Va Beach Night Hawk]

Hit the beach today around noon.Beach was pretty crowed for this time of year.It was really a nice day temperature around 70.Did not find any gold or silver but had a nice day.Ran into my good friend Sarge and met Mark from Norfolk.Says he is getting back into detecting so we will be seeing more of him on the beach.Seen Max off in the distance but did not go that far North.Found a 10 Kopiyok coin from the Ukraine and the 3 quarters and dime I was walking off the beach in the dry sand and scooped them all up in one scoop.

Thanks for the VA Beach report. I'm up here in Manassas. Just out of curiosity....when the season gets in full swing, where is the best place to park I MD'd the beach in Oct-Dec w/no parking problems, of course. But I can only imagine where I am going to have to park when I go back in a few weeks. Any suggestions? Appreciate it.

Thanks for the VA Beach report. I'm up here in Manassas. In the summer time you can park free anywhere on the far side Pacific Ave(if you can find a spot.) I park either on the other side of rudy inlet bridge and walk back across the bridge(long walk) or I go up around 36th st and park.Some times I luck out and find a spot around 24th and Artic.But like you say parking sucks in the summer time.You need to go either real early in the morning or late at night.

Thanks for the parking info. I was so happy to find ample parking when I was there in Oct & Nov.....but I know my luck isn't going to be so ample during the summer. I usually try to find something around Atlantic/26...gives me a fair medium of hunting both North and South. Hope you are leaving something for me to dig up.... Thanks again for the info.
