Hey guys, my son had a football game today so I wasn't able to meet up with dave til almost 3, we got out to a spot we wanted to get permission at and no one was home, found another spot not too far away from the first attempt and got permission. Small, hilly front yard yielded me 10 wheats and a 44 merc., it was a small yard so we bailed and got permission at a nice 1850s home that was very strange, lots of iron and every signal was iffy, only got the two buckles there. The round ornate object and smashed up bullet was from an earlier hunt with NepaWill at almost dawn, we were in the woods looking for a lost park from the early 1900s to no avail. Not too bad of a day, thanks for looking and hh!! 20150809_192611.webp20150809_210249.webp20150809_211846.webp

Hey, some times small areas like that out produce heavily used parks.

If we can get a few more hunts in, I may have to change batteries in the F75 before I put it away for the winter:laughing7:

Nice finds Chris, haven't seen ya on in a while.

They do last forever in the high-end Fishers.

How you liking the F75?

Pull anything really deep yet?

No sir, not really deep. A round ball at about 8 inches is probably the deepest so far, but I haven't been out much lately. I got the F75 just over a month ago and the battery indicator still says full lol.

Congrats on the nice hunt cjon. :occasion14: A merc and a fist full of wheat, not to mention the relics makes swinging the coil a little easier.

Silver!!!!! Thats all that matters. Nice

That's a nice looking merc! And a good pile of wheaties

I usually go through an entire summer on my F70, with maybe two sets of batteries.

Glad to see you get out. And a silver and wheats to boot.
I love them iron infested yards, that every signal is choppy.
It means people left alot of stuff for us!

It's tough being Chris too. People won't leave him alone. They think he's some movie star or something and ask for his autograph a lot. They always tell him he is taller in person...dunno who they think he is.

So that's what they mean when they ask if he still lives in a van down by the river!

Thanks thrifty, I was at a park earlier this morning, just not the same level of excitement as a private property

maybe if you spend more time detecting rather than making videos/pics you might need new batteries (the videos/pics are hilarious though)

Thanks WV, last time I was on was 9 days ago, this year has been tough in a few departments; finding the time to get out, and making good use of that time!

Thanks MI farmer!

Thanks George, gets frustrating after a while though, but I guess that's what patience is all about?
