Greetings All,
I stopped by to visit my sister today, have been telling her about MD'ing
and various finds i've made.
I told her we could probably find some coins in the driveway in less than a minute,
picked off a few clad on the surface right away,
headed off the driveway into some leaf litter, & got a screamer just below the surface,
plugged a stick in the ground for a marker, got a trowel out of the truck, dug the clump, & lo & Behold, here's an 1851 LC !
Just then company pulls in to join us for dinner, so that ends this days hunt.
Being the first lot on 'Farm Road', in a small New England town, I should have known this would be prime ground.
I'll tell you that my sister is looking forward to more hunts!
Hoo Wee, here's another good reason to upgrade my equipment so I can pass my Safari on to Her!
