Nice Gold Tickets found at Ft. Lauderdale Beach Today!

Went to Lauderdale beach this morning for a couple hrs. Water was crystal clear and flat as a pancake! First ring I found was a woman's 18k wedding band, 2.1dwt/3.2grams.

Second one was a lot bigger. I thought it was stainless, but could see some writing inside the band and a stamp. I got home acid tested it and weighed it. Mens 14k White Gold, 11.4dwt/17.8grams!!! Yahooooo!! it says Santa Fe on it.

Very nice finds!! I wish I was close to a beach! I might have to do
a detecting vacation soon. With the price of gold at $660.60 at
the close today, here is the gold value of each ring:

18K band - $50.94
14K monster Santa Fe ring - $220.36 (WOW!!)

For walking around on a nice sunny beach and finding gold... priceless!!!

I would venture a guess that the guy wearing the SantaFE ring probably took if off on purpose so it would stop pulling him under...WoW Big Ring.....

My huntin buddy said it seems to be a truckers ring, like Mack and Peterbuilt. Seems to make sense because it looks like the front grill of a semi.
