I had a good hunt today. I went back to the spot where I had found five silver coins, and it did not disappoint. I focused a little more on the mid tones, and it paid off. A 1912 V — nickel, I 1916 Dash D buffalo nickel, and a 41 Jefferson too.
Silver includes a war nickel and a 1943 Merc.
A bunch of tokens again, and interesting Medal that’s says ‘street fair’.
I really enjoy enjoyed having my at pro with the 5x8 coil, and the at max with the standard coil. It made hunting More enjoyable to go over trashy spots again, and just to have the opinion of both units.
Something funny is fact that I scored my 3rd war nickel in a row without getting a 90% coin. I think I’m digging more tones that are war nickel-like I suppose...
Anyways, thanks for reading. I had written a much longer report but the computer deleted it all so you get the short version
