That's what it's about, for me. To be able to open that chest now and again and just plain admire. :)

Nice!
Thanks!, yeah I don't put em in holders, the better ones are in individual tiny ziploc baggies just so I can pull em out once in a while

Got all my finds together the other day. It was amazing to see how much good stuff there was in just a few months of detecting. Great pile of stuff buddy. How long you been at it?

Nice hunting keep it up

March 17th, huh? That's my birthday! Does that mean I can pick a prize from it as a present? Lol.

It's funny I started in September and made a goals list for my first year. Wanted one 1700s coin and any old silver. Have found 10 or 12 1700s coins and 3 1700s Spanish silver. One 1739. 12 or 14 Large Cents. Let's just say I've been pleasantly surprised at the sites here in Maine that I have researched. I was researching about 6 months before I ever got a detector. What an incredibly fun hobby. I used to golf and drink beer :-) now I get up at 5 am and head for the forest. Far away from people. I love the scenery and peaceful settings. I can go 15 minutes in any direction and be at a colonial site. Even a few 1600s sites close by. Hope your good fortune continues buddy. You've done great

Hey, :hello:

That turquoise and silver Bolo Tie ? :icon_scratch: Does that have any markings on it ?? :dontknow: I think I found the same thing, just wondering if they are the same. ???

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

Wow , That's a ridiculously good year so far - I'd be delighted if that was my 5 year haul ! considering the quality of some of those finds.

it is a great hobby, so relaxing and rewarding, plus meeting fellow detectorists that share the same passion for the goods is fun in itself!

I too was wondering about the "turquoise" piece , does it appear to have been a pendant or perhaps a bolo tie ornament ?
