Went back to the old schoolyard. Today's favorite find is a beautiful old copper locket. About half way in between the size of a quarter and the size of a half dollar. Would have been even better if it contained a personal item but, no, it was empty.
Also got a fairly nice Indian Head.
To round out the finds were three wheatbacks and a tiny copper band. Immediately thought "ring" when it came out of the ground but then began to doubt it because of the size. But the edges are rounded and the inside has some traces of gold plating, so definitely a ring in my opinion.
